wow its been a while....

okay, so it has been forever since i have last posted a blog. gosh, so much has been going on, i have had no time!

well, about 3 months ago i got an internship at Intel as a software application developer. its cool, because my supervisor is my Bishop from Glencoe ward when i was in it. its been really fun. i have learned a lot, and i get free soda as well! :) its really nice because i get to chose my hours that i work. during the summer i am going to try to work full time if i can.

man, i cant believe i am 18 now....its kinda weird. although i had a wonderful birthday. i spent almost 4 hours getting my hair done and getting my nails done. it took forever, but it was worth it! believe it or not, I'm a red-head again. i kinda wish it was a little lighter of a red, but i still like it the way it is.My dad got me a 4GB flash drive, and some new clothes, and a new watch. i also got an amazing camera for my birthday!! my parents always know what to get me. i love them so much. this new camera is helping me a lot with my senior project, which is on photography. i have to put together an album of all my best photography artwork. its been really fun doing something that i absolutely love for my senior project.

I'm almost 2 months away from graduating from high school!! i cant believe it is so close! this the time where i am really stressing about school though. there are so many projects and speeches i have to finish before the end of the year. and everyone says that senior year is the easiest year of all. well, i don't agree. it is one of the hardest years for me. well, it will be worth it when I'm all done with high school forever. :)

another decision i have made just recently is to disable my texting on my phone. shocking right? the reason is that i just could not afford it anymore. i mean, i know i have a job, but i realized i need to be saving that money for college, and for more important things. my car broke down last week, and my laptop isn't working anymore, so i need to save up to fix those. college is just right around the corner, and i need to prepare and save up for that. i try to be responsible, and i try my best to make good decisions, i just hope im doing good enough to keep me on track.

Over the past 3 months i have gotten to know my new ward a little better. when i first moved into the ward, i was the only Laurel. now there are two more. Its so hard for me though to actually talk to the girls in Young Women's. everyone says that i will get to know everyone once I'm in the ward for a while, but it just doesn't seem to work for me. oh, and did i say i have been called to be Laurel class president?? i guess heavenly father wants me to be a leader, because in the past i have been president in Mia Maids and Beehives as well. its just weird because being a leader is the last thing i want to do. i did some research and i found that i may have a phobia for socializing. lol the only way i feel comforable with speaking to people is through writing. isnt that weird? oh well, i know god knows what he is doing....


anyway, i dont know how often i will be updating this, but i just wanted to let you know whats going on in my life.

im finally blogging again....

heyyyy everyone. sorry i have not posted a blog in so long! my life has been insane lately! so many things have happened since the last time i updated my blog. yes, i think its been over a month! 0_0

ok, well everyone knows this already, but i now have my license! i got it January 6th. oh yes, and i now have a Car! (i think everyone knows about that as well.) its a light blue 1992 Chevy Cavalier. i love that car. i love to take annalina and Jacob places in it. I got it for Christmas from my dad. he is so amazing. he taught me how to check the oil in it, and check the air in the tires, and all that cool stuff. i cant wait until july so i can start driving all my friends around! almost none of my friends have their license yet. =/ i need to bug them more about that! wahaha!


hmmm....lets see....oh yes! i have a new boyfriend! yes....i had to break up with Alex because things were just not working out. i felt like he only wanted me around just so he could say he had a girlfriend. that, and he didnt like to hang out afterschool, ot on weekends, and i couldnt stand that any longer. Anyway, the new boy of my dreams is amazing. his name is Timothy Edward Chin. he is the nicest boy you will ever meet. we started off as just friends, and then progressed to best friends. he has always been there for me through thick and thin, and he is one of the few people who understand me. about a week after i broke up with alex, he pretty much told me that he was in love with me, and asked me out. that really shocked me. i never really thought of him as more than a friend. so , i told him i would think about it. a couple days later, i said yes. he is the best boyfriend in the whole world. <3


mmk, enough about boys for now. ;) i have just started the second semester at school. it has been really hard this year. all of my classes are really tough, and i get tons of homework every day. i just wish that they could invent a school where you can socialize with your friends all day. forget about the classes, and the homework and all that stuff. i would get straight A's if all i had to do was hang out with my friends! lol


just to let everyone know, i will probably be updating my blog about once a week from now on. i can only go on the internet on weekends, because my grades have not been all that great this year. my mom said i could go online to blog during the week if i got permission, but i consider that cheating. lol


oh, i have some pictures of my car, but i will post that later.

im sooo ready for school again....

man, what an interesting week this has been! So you know how my family was sick last week, right? well, lets just say my family is really good at sharing, and so they gave a little bit of their sickness to me! yep, Monday night i got the stomach flu. not fun at all. =/ i had it for a couple of days, but now im well, and ready to get back into the game of life!

ok, so u might think im crazy for saying this, but....i am so ready to go back to school!!! i miss seeing all of my friends, and hanging out with them! im also excited to see Alex again (my bf ). i only got to see him once durring the break, and once was not enough. Also, i found my self turning into a couch potato(and just lazy in general). The only thing that im not looking forward to is the homework! yes, homework is every teenagers nightmare. hours and hours of homework every single day. =/ oh well i guess.....at least it will give me something to do.


oh yes, and one more thing......HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! goodbye 2008, and hello 2009!! YAY!

my poor family...

alright, so first off i would like to say that the sleepover i went to last night was amazing! Cynthia and i stayed up until 4:30 taking and laughing and going insane because we were so tired. it was lots of fun! unfortunately, i dont have any pictures to post! i didnt take any at all. =[ i will make sure to take some next time. =]

so i get home around 6pm today, to find that half my family was sick with the stomach flu! Joseph, Jacob, and my mom are all pretty sick still. I am very glad that Annalina didnt get sick. And Richard is so good at taking care of everyone. he is such an awesome person. seriously, he is like the best dad anyone could wish for! Anyway, i have been trying my best to take care of everyone tonight. I guess another fact about me is that when i see someone in need or someone who could use some help, or if they just are not in a good mood, i immediately go into help mode. i care for others, and i will do whatever it takes to make them happy. =]

So right now everyone is either sleeping, or just resting. i hope they will all get better soon!

finally, i get to see friends!!

so its been like forever since i have hung out with someone that isn't related to me. i have been stuck inside the house pretty much for the past week because of all the snow and stuff. Dont get me wrong, i love snow, but not being able to see my friends because of it is totally not cool. All of last week i have been trying to have some of my friends over to my house just to hang out and have some fun, but all of them were either busy, or they couldn't because they couldn't get over to my house in the bad weather. So then i ask them if they want to meet me at Glencoe High school to have a snowball fight, but most of them didn't want to be out in the cold. But thankfully, my friend Beth Hershey said that she would meet me there and hang out. that was lots of fun. we made a snow man and called him Bernard. what a weird name for a snow man! Unfortunately, that was over a week ago, and i have not been able to hang out with anyone else since.

Here is a little fact about me: I tend to get a little cranky, crazy, or sometimes even depressed when i don't see my friends for a long time. i try my best to hide that part of me, but there are times when that doesn't exactly work. oh well, what can i do? im a teenager, it happens. =/


ok, so back to my main point. I FINALLY GET TO CYNTHIA (my best friend) TONIGHT! im going over to her house to spend the night! i am like freakishly excited! (sorry for my teenager language. lol) so ya, i cant wait! This is one of the main highlights of my week. =]

yes, its true, i am a blogger now...

yep, here i am, following my mother's footsteps. i am now a blogger! so weird! so now you all will get to know a little about the life of a teenager! so exciting right? i dont think i will be able to type 10 paragraphs per day like my mom, (i think that is amazing by the way) but oh well. this is a place where i can express my feelings and talk about what ever i want! and thats cool! =]
